2022 PGA Championship Odds: Who Is the Betting Favorite to Win at Southern Hills?
It seems like just yesterday we were draping the green jacket over Scottie Scheffler’s shoulders at Augusta National Golf Club, but the second major championship of the season is already here. That’s right, the 2022 PGA Championship will tee off this weekend from historic Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., and we’re here to help you find a winner in this loaded field.
First thing’s first, though. Who is the betting favorite to win this year’s PGA Championship, and where do the other contenders fall on the odds board?
Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm are co-favorites to win the 2022 PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking, so it’s no surprise they top the odds board ahead of the 2022 PGA Championship. The two ball-striking wizards head into the second major of the year as the co-favorites at +1200 (FanDuel). Obviously, odds will vary from sportsbook to sportsbook, but Scheffler and Rahm are at the top of every one.
There’s a good reason for that. Scheffler has been the best and most consistent golfer on the PGA Tour all season long. In 15 starts, the Texan has racked up four wins and seven top-10. He’s won four of his last eight starts and has shown no signs of slowing down.
Southern Hills is also Scheffler’s self-proclaimed favorite course to play. He reportedly shot a 6-under 64 during a practice round last week, so expect him to be in contention come Sunday afternoon.
As for Rahm, he’s recorded five top-10 finishes in 11 starts this season, and he’s coming off a win in his last start at the Mexico Open at Vidanta. The Spaniard shot four straight rounds in the 60s that week and brought home his first victory since last year’s U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
No one would be surprised if either of these two superstars lifted up the Wanamaker Trophy this weekend.
