Aaron Rodgers has put together an illustrious career that will one day land him in Canton, Ohio, in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Rodgers‘ resume speaks for itself about where he ranks among the all-time greats at his position. That has put plenty of gravity into his perspective if of his peers, which has just poured out much praise toward Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Since then, Rodgers has put together an illustrious career that will one day land him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He has earned numerous accolades such as a Super Bowl win, Super Bowl MVP, two regular-season MVP awards, eight Pro Bowl selections, and two First-Team nods, among other honors.

Rodgers has earned respect from his peers as one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history. With that in mind, he just shelled out some tremendous praise to Patrick Mahomes.

Aaron Rodgers is an extremely gifted quarterback that has shown he can impact many facets of the game.

That has seen Patrick Mahomes thrust himself into the picture with many of those qualities that have helped him reach historic success with the Chiefs. During a recent interview on 10 Questions with Kyle Brandt, Rodgers voiced that he sees much of himself in Mahomes. (H/T Essentially Sports)

“Talent-wise you know, I’ve definitely thrown with a lot of guys around the league and been a fan for a long time. I’ve never felt that there’s anybody, you know, watching them throw is, you know, that they’re head and shoulders above me.…Pat Mahomes is just, I think, the way that he plays really reminds me of myself and I say that with the utmost amount of respect and humility.

“I think I love watching him play because he runs around, he makes throws all over the place, he knows his passes and he does it with, you know, enough balance between swagger and humility.”

Rodgers is in complete awe of Mahomes’ ability on the field with his physical traits and decision-making at the quarterback position. He holds tremendous respect to what fellow former MVP brings to the table that has continued to lead the Chiefs to success.
