Bills Star Josh Allen Holds No Punches After Shockingly Losing to Josh Allen’s Jaguars: ‘I Played Like S***’
Perhaps the biggest shocker of the weekend was the Jacksonville Jaguars stunning the Buffalo Bills in what can now be called the Josh Allen Bowl.
Urban Meyer’s team escaped with an ugly 9-6 victory as neither team could score a touchdown, and the offenses sputtered on a strange afternoon in Florida. Bills quarterback Josh Allen just could not find any success whatsoever.
Oddly enough, his namesake and the Jaguars linebacker Josh Allen did find success and frustrated the Bills offense all game long.

Are you confused yet?
The Jaguars stunningly took this game, and the Jacksonville linebacker frustrated the Bills superstar quarterback all game long.
The Bills signal-caller was intercepted, tackled, sacked, and had a fumble courtesy of his name mate on the Jacksonville side.
This situation is bizarre and the first-ever occurrence in the NFL.
It made for some impressive moments, but Urban Meyer’s team walked away with the victory as the entire NFL world could not believe the performance from the Bills — one of the favorites to win the AFC, especially if history was on their side.
The Josh Allen-Josh Allen situation was appointment television, and the Jags star walked away with the upper hand this time around.
The Bills quarterback got honest after a disastrous performance

The Pro Bowl quarterback struggled in the most unlikely circumstances on Sunday. Going into the game, it looked as if the Bills would steamroll the previously one-win Jaguars and continue to set their mark on the wild and wacky AFC.
However, that didn’t happen. After the loss, Allen — the Buffalo quarterback, that is– got honest on his performance (h/t Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN).
“I put the ball in danger too often. Hit us in the butt. Played like s—, excuse my language, but that starts with me.”
Bills’ Josh Allen on frustrating loss to Jaguars
He is right. The Buffalo quarterback finished with an abysmal 31-of-47 clip for 264 yards with two interceptions and a fumble.
It was a forgettable day for one Josh Allen. On the other hand, the other Josh Allen — who plays for Jacksonville– had a career game.
The AFC keeps getting more and more confusing after a wild Sunday
As if things weren’t weird enough in the AFC, Week 9 came and went. The Bills were among those listed as favorites in the AFC before a dud against one of the worst teams in football. Oh, and the ManningCast curse keeps on proving that it is a real thing.
The Tennessee Titans responded by punching the Los Angeles Rams in the mouth, and the Kansas City Chiefs struggled to beat an Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers team.
At this rate, nobody has any idea who is going to end up as the AFC champions. On the other hand, there are a ton of games remaining.
The Jaguars stunning the Bills is just another chapter in an absurd 2021 NFL season.
