Charles Barkley Savagely Demolished the Entire LA Clippers Franchise by Pointing Out They Have ‘Sucked’ His Entire Life

The one and only Charles Barkley is probably the funniest and most honest NBA analyst in the world. The Hall of Famer doesn’t care if fans are offended by his takes and will always speak his mind with his chest out.

Due to the injuries to LA Lakers superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, many pundits believe the LA Clippers can win the Western Conference for the first time in franchise history and advance to the NBA Finals. Although James and Davis will be healthy by the 2021 playoffs, they may not be in rhythm since they have missed so much time.

The Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, are in third place in the Western Conference standings and playing well on both sides of the ball. However, Charles Barkley doesn’t think the Clippers are title contenders, and he used a hilarious and savage reason for not having any faith in LAC.

The Clippers choked in the 2020 playoffs

The Clippers had a 3-1 lead over the Denver Nuggets in the 2020 Western Conference Semifinals at Walt Disney World in the NBA bubble. All signs pointed toward Kawhi Leonard and Paul George leading the team to the conference finals, where LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Lakers were waiting.

However, in typical Clippers fashion, the team blew their 3-1 lead to the Nuggets and lost the series in seven games. Neither Leonard nor George scored in the fourth quarter of Game 7 against the Nuggets, and George embarrassed himself by hitting the side of the backboard on an open 3-pointer.

The Clippers and head coach Doc Rivers parted ways after the season. Former Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue replaced Rivers and has done a good job in 2020-21.

However, Charles Barkley isn’t going to count on the Clippers to go on a magical postseason run this season since they have been cursed his entire life.

Charles Barkley destroys the Clippers franchise

After the Clippers recently defeated the Phoenix Suns, someone on Twitter called Charles Barkley out for not having LAC as a title contender. In typical Chuck fashion, the former MVP fired back at the troll and destroyed the entire Clippers franchise along the way.

“I’ve been poor, I’ve been rich, I’ve been fat, I’ve been skinny, I’ve been old, I’ve been in the Hall of Fame, and one thing I can always tell you, the Clippers have always sucked.”

The Clippers have never reached the conference finals in franchise history. They have come close many times but have always blown big leads.

The “Lob City” team of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan was embarrassed in the 2015 Western Conference Semifinals against the Houston Rockets after blowing a 3-1 lead. The Clippers had a massive lead in Game 6 at home but got outscored 40-15 in the fourth quarter.

Charles Barkley has every right to rip the Clippers until the organization proves it can stop choking. No one who covers the NBA cares what LAC does in the regular season anymore because the franchise always comes up short in the postseason.

Charles Barkley never won a championship, but he’s an NBA legend

Charles Barkley never won an NBA championship during his playing career. However, he did reach the conference finals multiple times and led the Suns to the 1993 Finals.

While Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls defeated Barkley and the Suns in the ’93 Finals, the 1992-93 season was still a historic one for Barkley. He won the MVP award and beat Jordan twice in Chicago during the Finals.

Charles Barkley was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2006. He finished his NBA career with averages of 22.1 points and 11.7 rebounds.
