Coming Attractions: NFL Games Fans Should Look Forward to This 2021 Season

NFL fans, get ready! We are only a few weeks away from the start of the regular season and just three weeks away from training camps opening.

The league normally likes to tease its fans by releasing their schedule a few months prior (as if fans aren’t already excited).

.This year is no exception. There are a handful of matchups that will have NFL fans drooling.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys

You have to give it to the NFL, they know how to kick off the season the right way. America’s Team versus Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on a Thursday Night Football on NBC starting at 8:20 pm ET to start the season. How good can it get?

You have the return of Dak Prescott to the Cowboys after being injured last season as well 43-year- old Brady playing another season under center.

Before Prescott was injured, the Cowboys” offense was pretty explosive at times. But this Bucs defense shut down Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes during their Super Bowl runs

The real matchup is not going to be Prescott-versus Brady. Instead, we want to see how the Cowboys’ offense looks against the Tampa Bay defense.

You’ll see a high-scoring game between these two.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Baltimore Ravens

When two of the hottest offenses in the league face each other, you know it’s going to be fireworks.

Entering last year’s matchup, both teams were undefeated. The Chiefs came out on top, 34-20.

There should be a lot of anticipation for this game with two of the best young quarterbacks facing one another. You have the 2018 MVP and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes versus Lamar Jackson, also a former MVP of the league in 2019.

Forget about the defenses, this will be a high-scoring affair as well. The question coming into this one will be which defense can make one stop to win the game.

The Chief’s defense struggled at times during the regular season last year and injuries caught up to them. Despite that, they still made it to the Super Bowl.

The Ravens will also have to lean on their young quarterback to carry them. But their defense maybe is a little more seasoned than the Chiefs.

Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots

Now, these two teams play each other twice in the regular season.. The biggest mystery is what kind of matchup are we going to look forward to seeing? Tua Tagovailoa versus Cam Newton? Or Tua versus Mac Jones?

Before the season started last year, this matchup was highly anticipated. But the stakes may be higher this year. Both teams might not only be playing for a spot in the playoffs but for the division as well. Although, we think the Buffalo Bills may have something to say about that.

Big things are expected out of the Dolphins’ second-year quarterback. Miami barely missed the playoffs last year. Their defense, which was one of the best in the league, kept them in most of their games.. The Patriots’ defense struggled at times because of player opt-outs and injuries. But now that they are back at full speed, the Patriots could be dangerous depending on who leads them on offense this year.

It’ll be interesting to see which of these quarterbacks will come out on top.

Those games, plus a few others, may decide who goes to the Super Bowl in February 2022.
