It was a windy, chilly evening in Buffalo as the Bills and New England Patriots faced off in a crucial AFC East match. Once again, Bill Belichick got the best of Buffalo and ran wild in a scrappy 14-10 victory on Monday Night Football. During the game, Peyton Manning and Eli Manning did the ManningCast once again and had Joe Buck as one of the special guests.
Well, Peyton might be regretting that a bit, especially after Buck roasted him and got revenge with one of the best answers of all time.
Peyton Manning destroyed Joe Buck on ManningCast at the beginning of the season
The first season of ManningCast has been a smashing success since the beginning. Well, at the start of the season, Peyton ripped Buck with a hilarious one-liner of his own.
As the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles battled, Peyton discussed the broadcasting duo of Troy Aikman and Buck.
Now, weeks later, Buck finally got his turn to fire some shots at Peyton and stole the show during the fourth quarter of the Bulls-Patriots game.
Joe Buck roasts Peyton Manning in epic fashion during Monday Night Football
As the game was winding down, Peyton asked Buck a question he surely regrets asking. The former Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts quarterback asked Buck if they wished they had guests on the broadcast during a blowout, and Buck fired a massive shot at Peyton.
“Yeah, you know, the last time I thought about that was when you guys played Seattle in the Super Bowl.”Joe Buck during MNF ManningCast
Buck with the dagger! Eli was laughing, Peyton was hysterical, and Buck must have had that one in his back pocket all night just waiting for an opportunity.
Indeed, this might be the best answer on any ManningCast this entire season and one that will live forever among Buck’s endless list of all-timers.
The Broncos-Seahawks Super Bowl was a demolition and Peyton Manning knows all about that
Super Bowl XLVIII was a blowout, plain and simple. The Seattle Seahawks got their first-ever Super Bowl victory with a 43-8 destruction of Manning and the Broncos.
The famed Legion of Boom defense was at its peak and frustrated Manning, as the Denver quarterback finished 34-of-49 with 280 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions on the night.
It wasn’t pretty for Manning and the Broncos, and Buck must have been waiting a long time to throw a jab his way.
The ManningCast has been a smashing success this season, and the varied guests are certainly helping this cause.
Nonetheless, Peyton’s question to Buck will be one he regrets for some time, especially after being reminded of one of the most lopsided victories in the Super Bowl era.
