The early afternoon slate in Week 4 features a handful of intriguing matchups, but all eyes will be on the star-studded showdown between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens. Not only does the game feature two of the top-three favorites to win the AFC, but it also highlights the two biggest favorites to win the MVP award in Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson.

Allen is currently the betting favorite to win the award at +300 odds, while Jackson is right behind at +550. If you like either of these superstar quarterbacks to win MVP this season, now is the perfect time to pounce.

Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are No. 1 and No. 2 in the MVP race

Through three weeks of the 2022-23 NFL season, two quarterbacks have clearly established themselves as the MVP favorites. Allen and Jackson have been brilliant for their respective teams, and they’ve already risen to No. 1 and No. 2 on the MVP odds board.

Allen leads the NFL in passing yards through three games with 1,014 yards. He also ranks second in touchdown passes with nine. The only QB ahead of him? That would be Jackson. The Ravens superstar leads the NFL with 10 touchdown passes this season. He also ranks fifth in the league in rushing yards with 243. Jackson has rushed for 100+ yards in two straight games, and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Both quarterbacks have led their teams to 2-1 starts to the season, so Sunday afternoon’s matchup will go a long way in determining the pecking order in the AFC standings. As it currently stands, the Bills are favored to win the AFC at +250 odds, while the Ravens are third on the odds board at +750. The Kansas City Chiefs (+400) are the only other team ahead of Baltimore on the AFC odds board.

If you like Allen or Jackson to win MVP, now is the time to strike

It’s not often the two biggest MVP favorites get to face off this early in the season. But we’ve been blessed with this superstar matchup in Week 4, and it’s created a valuable betting opportunity in the futures market.

If Allen lights up the stat sheet and leads the Bills to a road victory in Baltimore, his price to win MVP will drop below +300 come Monday morning. But if Jackson goes off and leads the Ravens to an upset win to move to 3-1, he very well could overtake Allen as the MVP favorite.

If you like one of these quarterbacks to win MVP this year, you need to bet on them before Sunday’s game to beat the line movement. Of course, they’ll need to win the game to give you any value, but there’s risk associated with all sports wagers.

Now is the time to buy stock in Allen or Jackson, so which QB will you choose?
