The Lakers got off to a hot start during the season and had a 17-2 record, which tied the best start in franchise history.
In year 17, James did not slow down one bit. He dominated in all aspects of the game, and he was a key reason for the Lakers’ success this season. James finished the regular season averaging 25.3 points, 10.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds. He led the league in assists and helped the Lakers secure the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference going into the playoffs.
Even with the NBA being suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic, James was eager to return and take his team to the championship. Even in the NBA bubble, James helped the Lakers finish the season and strong and helped them get ready for the playoffs.

The Lakers started the 2020 NBA Playoffs off on a good note. In the first round, the Lakers took on the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland won the first game, and then the Lakers controlled the rest of the series, winning the next four. During the series, James averaged a triple-double with 27.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists.
In the next round, the Lakers took on the Houston Rockets, and James led the team in scoring (25.8) and assists (7.4) as the Lakers defeated the Rockets 4-1. In the first two rounds, the Lakers only lost two games and were showing why they were the No. 1 seed in the west. LA matchup up against the Denver Nuggets during the Western Conference Finals, and once again, the Lakers dominated. With James and Davis leading the way for the Lakers, they defeated the Nuggets 4-1 and advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
James always steps up in big moments, and that is what he did in the NBA Finals. He helped the Lakers defeat the Miami Heat 4-2 as he won his fourth title and the first one with the Lakers. James led his team in points, rebounds, and assists, and he was named the Finals MVP for the fourth time. The Lakers are on top of the NBA world once again, and James was a big help to the team’s success.

James has one daughter, Zhuri, who he thinks the world of. After returning home to his family from the NBA bubble, James decided to give his daughter an early birthday gift. According to TMZ Sports, James had a private mini home built for Zhuri in the backyard. The house is similar to James’ Brentwood mansion but just a smaller version.
James decided to go all out for his daughter’s birthday. “Early bday gift my princess!!! Love you baby z,” LeBron said, according to TMZ Sports. Zhuri, who is almost 6-years-old, has her own house, and it’s a nice one. Those are just some of the things that James enjoys doing for his kids, and he truly values his family.
