In the next round, the Lakers took on the Houston Rockets, and James led the team in scoring (25.8) and assists (7.4) as the Lakers defeated the Rockets 4-1. LA matchup up against the Denver Nuggets during the Western Conference Finals, and once again, the Lakers dominated. With James and Davis leading the way for the Lakers, they defeated the Nuggets 4-1 and advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
