2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Championship Odds: Justin Allgaier Tops Field; Harrison Burton Settles Back In

The lone NASCAR Xfinity Series driver to open the campaign with back-to-back Top-10 finishes, Harrison Burton continues shaking off his unsteady three-year run on the Cup circuit.
So far, so good.
“I’m really motivated,” Burton told NASCAR.com “I know that I can do it; I know I can be a Cup driver,” Burton said. “That’s still my goal. I’ve got to rework my way up there, get an opportunity and go take advantage of it.”
The son of former Cup competitor Jeff Burton compiled just six top 10s in 108 starts with the Team Penske-affiliated organization. He earned Wood Brothers Racing’s 100th career win last year at Daytona’s summer event, but generally raced against the machines trailing the lead pack, averaging a 24th-place finish.
“It was frustrating and not what I wanted it to be,” Burton said. “I made great, lifelong friendships and got a lot of good out of it. Got to be a much better race car driver from it. It just didn’t go as well as it needed to soon enough.”
Burton will use the Xfinity Series’ 33-race schedule as a prolonged audition to return to Cup racing. Entering Saturday’s Focused Health 250 at Circuit of The Americas, Burton, who ranks sixth in the points standings after two races, was listed with +3300 odds of capturing the series championship, according to BetOnline Sportsbook.
Reigning champion Justin Allgaier (+350) earned the top odds.
AM Racing had just two Top 10 finishes in 33 races in 2024. In just two races in 2025, they have two Top 10s.
Harrison Burton says that's a great sign of progress, but they're treating 2025 like a fresh start and Burton believes the group is capable of winning races.
