The Golden State Warriors were knocked out of the playoffs last week after an up and down 2024-25 season. There is at least one player on their roster who is postponing any vacations, as forward Draymond Green is set to make television appearances during at least the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Draymond Green Will Make Appearances On TNT This Week

Green has been a TNT guest host for a few years now. He has been a part of the broadcast team for the last two All-Star games, and made regular appearances on the Inside The NBA set during the 2024 Playoffs.

He’ll continue his off-season broadcasting career over the next few days, as it was announced on Monday that Green will be joining Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and the rest of the cast during the first two games of the upcoming series between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers.

His career on the microphone hasn’t been the smoothest experience. Draymond Green has made comments in years that have stirred up controversy, including some as recently as the 2025 All-Star Game. He was called out by multiple members of the media, and there have even been calls for TNT to end their relationship with him.

Green has been a regular in front of a microphone in more than just his time on NBA broadcasts. He hosts a popular podcast that bares his namesake, which is a platform that has also proved to be controversial for him at times. It is clear that he is setting himself up for a potential career after basketball, as he is in the twilight of his time on the floor.

Even at his advancing age, Draymond Green has continued to be a vital part of the Warriors’ success. His overall veteran leadership and presence makes him almost invaluable for Golden State, and his defense prowess is still one of the best in the game. Green was one of the finalists for the Defensive Player of the Year Award.
