NASCAR Cup Series Straight Talk Wireless 400 Entry List: Dates, Event Times At Homestead-Miami Speedway

Christopher Bell may have finished 12 spots behind Sunday’s unexpected winner, Josh Berry, but the No. 20 Toyota driver provided one of the NASCAR Cup Series season’s most unique highlights.
After getting busted for changing a throttle body, the No. 20 Toyota team was sent to the rear for the start of the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lune at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The winner of the three previous races rallied to earn one Stage 1 point.
Bell moved up as high as P2, but pit-road issues ended his hope of becoming the first circuit driver to win four straight since Jimmie Johnson in 2007. During a yellow-flag stop, Bell departed the team’s stall, but the left-front wheel remained loose. Crew chief Adam Stevens instructed Bell to pull into Chase Briscoe’s station to secure the lug nut.
Bell’s team was levied a penalty for pitting outside of the box, but “at least we didn’t lose a wheel,” Bell told Fox Sports. “It was a grind today for sure. I don’t really know how I feel yet, but we certainly didn’t do what we did the last couple of weeks and that was just have a nice clean race.”
