NFL: Lamar Jackson, Dak Prescott Among 5 Best Fantasy Football Performers in Week 11

Another week is nearly in the books with just the Monday night matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Chargers left to play. It was also a slate of games that featured several standout performances, with quarterback play dominating the top ranks around the league. Without further ado, here are the top plays from this past weekend that include an MVP frontrunner.

5. D.J. Chark

ESPN: 30.4 POINTS

The Jacksonville Jaguars have had their ups and downs this season, but one of the most promising developments has been the play of wide receiver DJ Chark. He has become their top receiving threat that has seen him become one of the most productive wideouts in the league.

Chark proved that once again in Week 11 in Nick Foles return as he tallied eight catches for 104 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts. He has now put up six double-digit fantasy point outputs, including three beyond 20 points. with two coming with Foles on the field. Expect much of the same for Chark moving forward in 2019.

4. Dak Prescott

ESPN: 31.6 POINTS

There has been much attention around Prescott’s long-term future with the Dallas Cowboys regarding his contract situation throughout much of the 2019 season. He has brushed that aside, leading to him putting together what has been the best campaign of his career.

Prescott has become a significant asset with his arm that saw him put another monster outing with 444 passing yards and three touchdowns in the win over the Detroit Lions. He has been one of the most consistent fantasy quarterbacks, tallying more than 20 points all but twice. There haven’t been any more reliable quarterbacks than Prescott this season.

3. Lamar Jackson

ESPN: 33.5 POINTS

Speaking of reliable quarterbacks, Jackson certainly tops the list in that regard in fantasy as he has been an absolute juggernaut with his production. He has taken that to the next level during the Ravens’ six-game winning streak, posting 30-plus points three times during that span.

The latest has come in a blowout against the Houston Texans, where he passed for 222 yards and four touchdowns along with rushing for 86 yards. He has proven to be a defensive nightmare behind his dual ability with his arm and legs. Jackson has begun to separate himself as the frontrunner for the MVP award, and there doesn’t appear to be any sign of him slowing down any time soon.

2. Josh Allen

ESPN: 33.8 POINTS

In his second season, Allen has taken a notable step forward in his production on the field as one of the most dependable quarterbacks. He still has room for much growth as a passer and decision-maker, but he is a massive reason for the Bills’ success in 2019.

Allen put that on display against the Miami Dolphins, showing his dual-threat ability by passing for 256 yards with three touchdowns along with rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown. The fact that Allen can make plays with his legs in the red zone and goal-line situations make him a highly dependable fantasy option and will continue to be the case for the rest of the 2019 campaign.

1. John Brown

ESPN: 34.7 POINTS

Sticking with the Bills’ theme, Brown has become a fantasy factor again with another team as he has been a dependable receiving threat for Allen in the passing game. His blazing speed played to his advantage in Week 11, seeing him put up the top fantasy performance of the week, posting season highs with nine catches and 137 receiving yards along with two touchdowns.

Brown has been a highly reliable receiving threat for the Bills, notching at least four catches in each game. It has led him to post no fewer than nine fantasy points in every contest this season. Given Brown’s big-play ability, he could find himself on this list a few more times this season.
