NFL: Lamar Jackson Outduels Kyler Murray in Baltimore’s 23-17 win

The Arizona Cardinals made it a closer game than the experts were predicting it would be, but in the end the Baltimore Ravens came out on top in a 23-17 win. Lamar Jackson recorded a 104.80 passer rating as he threw for 272 passing yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions.

Jackson also rushed for 120 yards on 16 carries in the win, leading the Ravens to a rushing usage index of 45.5. The Baltimore Ravens finished the day with an OVER (Offensive Value and Efficiency Rating) of 124.75 in the win.

On defense, the Ravens put up a total DVS (Defensive Value Score) index of 1.33 compared to a 0.2 DVS for the Arizona Cardinals. Baltimore’s defense ended the day with three sacks and four quarterback hits.

Kyler Murray had 349 passing yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in the loss. He became just the second quarterback in NFL history to pass for over 300 yards in his first two NFL games, joining Cam Newton as the only other QB to do so.
