Star running back Christian McCaffrey led the way with 176 rushing yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns, along with six catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Kyle Allen had a steady performance with 181 yards on 17-of-30 completed passes with a touchdown to zero interceptions and a 85.60 quarterback rating.

The Panthers had a rushing usage index of 285.0 and receiving index of 90.5, which produced an OVER (Offensive Value and Efficiency Rating) of 187.75, compared to OVER (Offensive Value and Efficiency Rating) of 177.0 for the Jaguars leading them to a win. The Jaguars had closed the deficit to 28-27 after a 38-yard field goal by kicker Josh Lambo, but running back Reggie Bonnafon sealed the game with a 59-yard run late in the fourth quarter.
