It’s championship week in fantasy football. That means the majority of fantasy owners have been eliminated, but for those who are lucky enough to be playing for a championship this week, finding the best matchups is now more important than ever. Wide receiver is one of the deepest positions in fantasy football, so picking out who will be the top performers from week to week can be difficult. In an effort to help the owners struggling to put their rosters together, here is a look at five wide receivers with favorable fantasy matchups in Week 16 of the 2014 NFL season.

1. DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans
Hopkins and the Texans will be taking on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. The Ravens have one of the top rushing defenses in the league, but also happen to be giving up the most fantasy points per game in the league to wide receivers this season. If Houston struggles to get their running game going, which is likely, expect to see Hopkins see significantly more than his 2014 per game average of 7.9 targets this week. This could very well end up being Hopkins’ fifth 100-yard game of the season.
2. Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers
With Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback, it seems like Nelson has a favorable matchup every week. That will be especially true this week when the Packers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Tampa Bay defense is giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game in the league to wide receivers this season, and the Green Bay offense will likely be looking to rebound in a big way after their dreadful performance in Week 15. Fantasy owners should expect Nelson to see double-digit targets and post another 100-yard game in Week 16.
3. Jeremy Maclin, Philadelphia Eagles
Maclin has had a huge season in 2014 playing in head coach Chip Kelly’s offense, and that should continue in Week 16. The Eagles will be playing one of their NFC East division rivals, the Washington Redskins, in a game that is a must-win for Philadelphia. The Redskins are giving up the second-most fantasy points per game in the league to wide receivers this season, and Maclin has already torched the Washington defense once this season. He hauled in eight catches for 154 yards and a touchdown against the Skins in Week 3 — numbers that he could potentially match in Week 16.
4. Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions
Johnson and the Lions will be taking on the dysfunctional Chicago Bears in Week 16. The Bears are giving up the 10th-most fantasy points per game in the league to wide receivers this year, and they have nobody on their roster capable of matching up with Megatron. In Week 13, on Thanksgiving Day, Johnson lit up the Bears for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 11 catches. Fantasy owners can expect a similar performance in Week 16.
