After winning the 2020 Super Bowl, the Kansas City Chiefs have not shown any signs of slowing down. The Chiefs are off to a 3-0 start to the season and show why they are the defending champions. Coming off an impressive season where he was named Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes has put together some impressive performances so far this season. In Week 1, the Chiefs took on the Houston Texans as they began their title defense with a 34-20 win.
Mahomes threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns that game in an exciting battle against Deshaun Watson. The next game, the Chiefs took on the LA Chargers, and Mahomes put together another impressive performance throwing for 302 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 54 yards as the Chiefs were able to come away with a 23-20 win. Now 2-0 on the season, the Chiefs faced an early test against the Ravens in a highly anticipated game featuring two of the top quarterbacks in the league.
Mahomes got the best of Lamar Jackson in the Monday Night Football game as he threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 26 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs defeated the Ravens 34-20 and moved to 3-0. Kansas City was clicking on all cylinders in the win over the Chiefs, and Mahomes showed why he’s one of the top players in the league after his impressive performance.

Mahomes is undefeated against the Ravens, posting a 3-0 record. Going back to 2018, he has thrown for 300 plus yards in each game against Baltimore. In his first matchup against the Ravens in 2018, he threw for 377 yards and two touchdowns as the Chiefs won 27-24 in overtime. The next season Kansas City defeated Baltimore again as Mahomes threw for 374 and three touchdowns.
It seems as though Mahomes and the Chiefs enjoy playing against the Ravens. Now Mahomes is 3-0 against the Ravens after the 34-20 win Monday night, and Mahomes put together another impressive performance, finishing with a total of five touchdowns ( one rushing and four passing.)

Mahomes picked the defense apart as he was able to find open receivers the entire game. It didn’t matter what defense the Ravens threw at him, Mahomes was going to find someone.
After Mahomes got his fourth overall touchdown during the game, he decided to channel his inner Michael Jordan and give the famous Jordan shrug. It was that kind of game for Mahomes as he did whatever he wanted to against Baltimore. The confidence was there for Mahomes as the game went on, and he was out there feeling unstoppable. It made sense for him to do the Jordan shrug because the Ravens could not find a way to contain him.
