Riding a 454 yards total offensive output, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers decimated the Las Vegas Raiders in a embarrassingly lopsided victory of 45-20, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Contributing to this victory, Tom Brady threw the football for 369 yards, and four touchdowns. The Buccaneers also had a rushing game that produced 85 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Brady contributed to this win by completing 33 of 45 passes, finishing the game with 369 yards, zero interceptions, four touchdowns and a QB rating of 127.00.
Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones led the rushing game for the Buccaneers. Fournette rushed for 50 yards from carrying the football 11 times. Fournette was helped by Jones who carried the football 13 times for a total of 34 yards. In the passing game, Brady was most successful throwing the ball to Scott Miller and Chris Godwin. Miller caught six passes for a total of 109 yards, while Godwin contributed with 88 yards from nine passes.
The Buccaneers were helped by a defensive effort that resulted in three sacks, and seven tackles for loss, to go along with one forced fumble, with no defensive touchdowns.
On the losing side of the game, Derek Carr of the Raiders ended the day with two touchdowns, along with 284 yards, one interception, and a 97.40 passer rating.
The rushing game for the Raiders was led by Jalen Richard and Josh Jacobs. For the game, Richard rushed for 24 yards from carrying the football seven times. Meanwhile Jacobs carried the ball 10 times for a total of 17 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Raiders included Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow. Agholor caught five passes for a total of 107 yards, while Renfrow contributed with 42 yards from four passes.
For the game, the Raiders defensive effort yielded one forced fumble, two tackles for loss and zero sacks. This was not enough to help their team to a victory.
With the win, the Buccaneers leave with a record of 1-0 for the season, while the Raiders record for the season is now 0-1.
