Goff and the Rams Cruised Past the Football Team in a One-Sided 30-10 Victory

The Los Angeles Rams cruised past the Washington Football Team in a one-sided victory of 30-10, Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020 in FedEx Field in Washington. For the win, Jared Goff threw for 309 yards, and two touchdowns. The Rams also relied on a rushing game that produced 129 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Goff finished the game completing 21 of 30 passes, to lead the way for the Rams. He ended up with an overall QB rating of 111.70, coming from a performance that included 309 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception for the game.

Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson led the rushing game for the Rams. Akers rushed for 61 yards from carrying the football nine times. Akers was helped by Henderson who carried the football 15 times for a total of 38 yards. In the passing game, Goff was most successful throwing the ball to Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Woods caught four passes for a total of 71 yards, while Kupp contributed with 66 yards from five passes.

Contributing to the victory was a defensive line stats of eight sacks , one forced fumble, four tackles for loss, and no defensive touchdowns for the Rams.

Alex Smith led the Football Team in a losing effort with 37 yards, completing 9 of 17 passes, no interceptions, and no touchdowns, for a QB rating of 58.70.

The rushing game for the Football Team was led by J.D. McKissic and Antonio Gibson. For the game, McKissic rushed for three yards from carrying the football one time. Meanwhile Gibson carried the ball 11 times for a total of 27 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Football Team included Isaiah Wright and Terry McLaurin. Wright caught one pass for a total of three yards, while McLaurin contributed with 26 yards from three passes.

In their loss, the Football Team defense contributed with one forced fumble and one tackle to go along with one sack and zero defensive touchdowns. This production from the Football Team defense was not enough help get a win.
