Goff Put Up 267 Yards as the Los Angeles Rams Easily Defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 37-19

Powered by 267 yards from Jared Goff, and a total team offensive output of 449 yards, the Los Angeles Rams easily defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a lopsided 37-19 victory, Sunday, Sep. 20, 2020 in Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The Rams rushing game contributed to this with with 191 yards and two rushing touchdowns, to support a 267 yards, three touchdowns effort by Jared Goff.

Goff ended the game with 267 yards passing, to go along with three touchdowns, no interceptions, and completing 20 of 27 passes. This performance led to a 142.00 passer rating for Goff.

The Rams deployed a rushing game led by Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown. For the game, Henderson carried the ball 12 times and rushed for 81 yards, leading to one touchdown. Brown supplemented by carrying the ball 11 times for a total of 47 yards. In the passing game, the Rams’ top receivers were Van Jefferson and Cooper Kupp. Jefferson caught four passes for a total of 45 yards, while Kupp contributed with 81 yards from five passes.

Sanders supplemented and carried the ball a total of 20 times for a total of 95 yards. Meanwhile DeSean Jackson and Jalen Reagor were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Eagles. Jackson caught six passes from Wentz for a total of 64 yards, while Reagor contributed with 41 yards from four passes.

Although their team lost the game, the Eagles defense ended the game with one sack, and no tackles for loss, to go along with two forced fumbles.

After this game, the Rams improved to a record of 1-0, while the Eagles dropped to a 0-1 record. After the win, the Rams now have a 1-0 record, compared to the Eagles who now have 0-1 record.
