Murray and the Cardinals Obliterated the Cowboys in a Laughable 38-10 Victory

Riding a 438 yards total offensive output, the Arizona Cardinals obliterated the Dallas Cowboys in a laughable victory of 38-10, Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 in AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Contributing to this victory, Kyler Murray threw the football for 188 yards, and two touchdowns. The Cardinals also had a rushing game that produced 261 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Murray contributed to this win by completing 9 of 24 passes, finishing the game with 188 yards, no interceptions, two touchdowns and a QB rating of 93.80.

The Cardinals deployed a rushing game led by Kenyan Drake and Chase Edmonds. For the game, Drake carried the ball 20 times and rushed for 164 yards, leading to two touchdowns. Edmonds supplemented by carrying the ball five times for a total of 23 yards. In the passing game, the Cardinals’ top receivers were Christian Kirk and DeAndre Hopkins. Kirk caught two passes for a total of 86 yards, while Hopkins contributed with 73 yards from two passes.

The Cardinals were helped by a defensive effort that resulted in three sacks, and one tackle for loss, to go along with two forced fumbles, with zero defensive touchdowns.

On the losing side of the game, Ben DiNucci of the Cowboys ended the day with zero touchdowns, along with zero yards, no interceptions, and a 39.60 passer rating.

The rushing game for the Cowboys was led by Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. For the game, Pollard rushed for 31 yards from carrying the football 10 times. Meanwhile Elliott carried the ball 12 times for a total of 49 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Cowboys included CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper. Lamb caught seven passes for a total of 64 yards, while Cooper contributed with 79 yards from seven passes.

Although their team lost the game, the Cowboys defense ended the game with one sack, and two tackles for loss, to go along with no forced fumbles.

After this game, the Cardinals improved to a record of 1-0, while the Cowboys dropped to a 0-1 record. After the win, the Cardinals now have a 1-0 record, compared to the Cowboys who now have 0-1 record.
