Rodgers and the Packers Cruised Past the 49ers in a One-Sided 34-17 Victory

Riding a 405 yards total offensive output, the Green Bay Packers cruised past the San Francisco 49ers in a one-sided victory of 34-17, Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 in Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco. Contributing to this victory, Aaron Rodgers threw the football for 305 yards, and four touchdowns. The Packers also had a rushing game that produced 111 yards and zero rushing touchdowns.

Rodgers contributed to this win by completing 25 of 31 passes, finishing the game with 305 yards, zero interceptions, four touchdowns and a QB rating of 147.20.

Tyler Ervin and Aaron Jones led the rushing game for the Packers. Ervin rushed for 24 yards from carrying the football eight times. Ervin was helped by Jones who carried the football 15 times for a total of 58 yards. In the passing game, Rodgers was most successful throwing the ball to Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Adams caught 10 passes for a total of 173 yards, while Valdes-Scantling contributed with 53 yards from two passes.

The Packers were helped by a defensive effort that resulted in one sack, and one tackle for loss, to go along with one forced fumble, with no defensive touchdowns.

For the 49ers, Nick Mullens ended the day having completed 22 of 35 passes, leading to 291 yards, one interception and one touchdown. His performance resulted in a QB rating of 86.70.

The rushing game for the 49ers was led by JaMycal Hasty and Jerick McKinnon. For the game, Hasty rushed for three yards from carrying the football four times. Meanwhile McKinnon carried the ball 12 times for a total of 52 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the 49ers included River Cracraft and Richie James Jr.. Cracraft caught two passes for a total of 13 yards, while James Jr. contributed with 184 yards from nine passes.

In their loss, the 49ers defense contributed with no forced fumbles and two tackles to go along with one sack and zero defensive touchdowns. This production from the 49ers defense was not enough help get a win.

With the win, the Packers leave with a record of 6-2 for the season, while the 49ers record for the season is now 4-5.
