Rodgers Put Up 296 Yards as the Green Bay Packers Took Care of the Los Angeles Rams 32-18

Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021 in Lambeau Field in Green Bay was a day of celebration for the Green Bay Packers fans, as their team took care of the Los Angeles Rams in a 32-18 victory. The Packers rode a rushing game that produced 188 yards and two rushing touchdowns, to go along with a Aaron Rodgers performance of 296 yards, two touchdowns.

Rodgers finished the game with two touchdowns, completing 23 of 36 passes. At the end of the day, he finished with 296 yards and zero interceptions, and a passer rating of 108.10.

Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones led the rushing game for the Packers. Williams rushed for 65 yards from carrying the football 12 times. Williams was helped by Jones who carried the football 14 times for a total of 99 yards. In the passing game, Rodgers was most successful throwing the ball to Davante Adams and Allen Lazard. Adams caught nine passes for a total of 66 yards, while Lazard contributed with 96 yards from four passes.

With no forced fumbles, one tackle for loss and four sacks , the Packers got just the defensive help it needed to get the win.

Jared Goff led the Rams in a losing effort with 174 yards, completing 21 of 27 passes, zero interceptions, and one touchdown, for a QB rating of 105.90.

The Rams’ rushing game was led by Cam Akers and Malcolm Brown. For the game, Akers carried the ball 18 times, rushed for 90 yards, and one touchdown. Brown supplemented and carried the ball a total of no times for a total of no yards. Meanwhile Robert Woods and Josh Reynolds were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Rams. Woods caught eight passes from Goff for a total of 48 yards, while Reynolds contributed with 65 yards from three passes.

Although their team lost the game, the Rams defense ended the game with zero sacks, and no tackles for loss, to go along with one forced fumble.
