Stick and the Chargers Knocked Off the Jaguars in a Hard-Fought 39-29 Victory

Riding a 484 yards total offensive output, the Los Angeles Chargers knocked off the Jacksonville Jaguars in a hard-fought victory of 39-29, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020 in SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Contributing to this victory, Easton Stick threw the football for four yards, and zero touchdowns. The Chargers also had a rushing game that produced 135 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Stick contributed to this win by completing 1 of 1 passes, finishing the game with four yards, no interceptions, zero touchdowns and a QB rating of 83.30.

Justin Jackson and Joshua Kelley led the rushing game for the Chargers. Jackson rushed for 12 yards from carrying the football five times. Jackson was helped by Kelley who carried the football 12 times for a total of 29 yards. In the passing game, Stick was most successful throwing the ball to Keenan Allen and Jalen Guyton. Allen caught 10 passes for a total of 125 yards, while Guyton contributed with 84 yards from two passes.

The Chargers’ defense contributed to the win with five sacks, one forced fumble, four tackles for loss, and scored zero defensive touchdowns.

For the Jaguars, Gardner Minshew II ended the day having completed 14 of 27 passes, leading to 173 yards, no interceptions and two touchdowns. His performance resulted in a QB rating of 96.70.

The Jaguars’ rushing game was led by James Robinson and Devine Ozigbo. For the game, Robinson carried the ball 22 times, rushed for 119 yards, and one touchdown. Ozigbo supplemented and carried the ball a total of zero times for a total of no yards. Meanwhile Laviska Shenault Jr. and Chris Conley were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Jaguars. Shenault Jr. caught three passes from Minshew II for a total of 44 yards, while Conley contributed with 28 yards from one pass.
