Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans decimated the Buffalo Bills in a embarrassingly lopsided 42-16 victory, Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020 in Nissan Stadium in Tennessee. The Titans’ win was helped by a rushing game that produced 139 yards and three rushing touchdowns, and by a 195 yards and three touchdowns effort by Tannehill.
Tannehill helped the Titans in this victory by attempting 28 passes and completing 21 of them. This led to a final QB production of 195 yards, no interceptions and three touchdowns for the game.
Jeremy McNichols and Derrick Henry led the rushing game for the Titans. McNichols rushed for 28 yards from carrying the football nine times. McNichols was helped by Henry who carried the football 19 times for a total of 57 yards. In the passing game, Tannehill was most successful throwing the ball to A.J. Brown and Kalif Raymond. Brown caught seven passes for a total of 82 yards, while Raymond contributed with 26 yards from two passes.
On the defensive side of the football, the Titans produced two forced fumbles, two tackles for loss, one sack and no defensive touchdowns.
Matt Barkley led the Bills in a losing effort with 22 yards, completing 3 of 5 passes, zero interceptions, and no touchdowns, for a QB rating of 70.40.
The rushing game for the Bills was led by Devin Singletary and T.J. Yeldon. For the game, Singletary rushed for 25 yards from carrying the football 11 times. Meanwhile Yeldon carried the ball 7 times for a total of 52 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Bills included Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis. Diggs caught 10 passes for a total of 106 yards, while Davis contributed with 58 yards from five passes.
Although their team lost the game, the Bills defense ended the game with zero sacks, and two tackles for loss, to go along with zero forced fumbles.
