The Buccaneers Rode a 544 Yards Offensive Output and Ran Away the Panthers 46-23

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers showed up Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020 in Bank of America Stadium in Carolina and ran away the Carolina Panthers by a embarrassingly lopsided 46-23 victory. The Buccaneers deployed a rushing game that produced 210 yards and two rushing touchdowns, one from Ronald Jones II, to go along with a total team offensive output of 544 yards.

Tampa QB Tom Brady passed for 341 yards with TD passes to Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, and Cameron Brate. Brady also rushed for a touchdown in the win.

Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones led the rushing game for the Buccaneers. Fournette rushed for 19 yards from carrying the football eight times. Fournette was helped by Jones who carried the football 23 times for a total of 192 yards. In the passing game, Gabbert was most successful throwing the ball to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Godwin caught six passes for a total of 92 yards, while Evans contributed with 77 yards from six passes.

The Buccaneers were helped by a defensive effort that resulted in three sacks, and four tackles for loss, to go along with zero forced fumbles, with zero defensive touchdowns.

On the losing side of the game, Phillip Walker of the Panthers ended the day with zero touchdowns, along with 12 yards, zero interceptions, and a 56.20 passer rating.

The rushing game for the Panthers was led by Trenton Cannon and Mike Davis. For the game, Cannon rushed for no yards from carrying the football zero times. Meanwhile Davis carried the ball 7 times for a total of 32 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Panthers included Robby Anderson and D.J. Moore. Anderson caught four passes for a total of 21 yards, while Moore contributed with 96 yards from four passes.

In their loss, the Panthers defense contributed with one forced fumble and two tackles to go along with one sack and zero defensive touchdowns. This production from the Panthers defense was not enough help get a win.

The Buccaneers walked away from the game with an improved record of 7-3. The Panthers, on the other hand, dropped to 3-7 for the season.
