The Chiefs Squeaked by the Raiders in a Thrilling 35-31 Win

The Kansas City Chiefs squeaked by the Las Vegas Raiders in a thrilling 35-31 win, Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020 in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. They deployed a rushing game that produced 108 yards, three rushing touchdowns, to support a Patrick Mahomes performance of 348 yards and two touchdowns.

Mahomes ended the game with 348 yards passing, to go along with two touchdowns, one interception, and completing 34 of 45 passes. This performance led to a 102.80 passer rating for Mahomes.

Le’Veon Bell and Clyde Edwards-Helaire led the rushing game for the Chiefs. Bell rushed for 25 yards from carrying the football seven times. Bell was helped by Edwards-Helaire who carried the football 14 times for a total of 69 yards. In the passing game, Mahomes was most successful throwing the ball to Tyreek Hill and Demarcus Robinson. Hill caught 11 passes for a total of 102 yards, while Robinson contributed with 44 yards from six passes.

Contributing to the victory was a defensive line stats of no sacks , zero forced fumbles, three tackles for loss, and zero defensive touchdowns for the Chiefs.

Derek Carr led the Raiders in a losing effort with 275 yards, completing 23 of 31 passes, one interception, and three touchdowns, for a QB rating of 119.70.

The rushing game for the Raiders was led by Devontae Booker and Josh Jacobs. For the game, Booker rushed for 16 yards from carrying the football five times. Meanwhile Jacobs carried the ball 17 times for a total of 55 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Raiders included Nelson Agholor and Hunter Renfrow. Agholor caught six passes for a total of 88 yards, while Renfrow contributed with 37 yards from two passes.

In a losing effort, the Raiders defense contributed with no sacks , zero forced fumbles, one tackle for loss, and zero defensive touchdowns for the game.

With the win, the Chiefs leave with a record of 9-1 for the season, while the Raiders record for the season now stands at 6-4.
