For the win, Matt Ryan threw for 284 yards, and three touchdowns. The Falcons also relied on a rushing game that produced 92 yards and one rushing touchdown.
Ryan contributed to this win by completing 25 of 35 passes, finishing the game with 284 yards, one interception, three touchdowns and a QB rating of 112.10.
Todd Gurley and Brian Hill led the rushing game for the Falcons. Gurley rushed for 53 yards from carrying the football 19 times. Gurley was helped by Hill who carried the football eight times for a total of 24 yards. In the passing game, Ryan was most successful throwing the ball to Olamide Zaccheaus and Julio Jones. Zaccheaus caught four passes for a total of 103 yards, while Jones contributed with 54 yards from five passes.
The Falcons’ defense contributed to the win with one sack, one forced fumble, two tackles for loss, and scored zero defensive touchdowns.
Drew Lock led the Broncos in a losing effort with 313 yards, completing 25 of 48 passes, one interception, and two touchdowns, for a QB rating of 77.90.
The Broncos’ rushing game was led by Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay. For the game, Gordon carried the ball six times, rushed for 18 yards, and no touchdowns. Lindsay supplemented and carried the ball a total of eight times for a total of 23 yards. Meanwhile K.J. Hamler and Jerry Jeudy were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Broncos.
