The Indianapolis Colts Easily Defeated the Tennessee Titans 34-17

Philip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts easily defeated the Tennessee Titans in a one-sided 34-17 victory on Nov. 12, 2020, at Nissan Stadium in Tennessee. The Colts’ win was helped by a rushing game that produced 133 yards and two rushing touchdowns, and by a 308 yards and one touchdown effort by Rivers.

Rivers finished the game with one touchdown, completing 29 of 39 passes. At the end of the day, he finished with 308 yards and zero interceptions, and a passer rating of 105.50.

Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins led the rushing game for the Colts. Hines rushed for 70 yards from carrying the football 12 times. Hines was helped by Wilkins who carried the football eight times for a total of 28 yards. In the passing game, Rivers was most successful throwing the ball to Michael Pittman and T.Y. Hilton. Pittman caught seven passes for a total of 101 yards, while Hilton contributed with 40 yards from four passes.

With no forced fumbles, two tackles for loss and one sack , the Colts got just the defensive help it needed to get the win.

The Titans’ rushing game was led by Derrick Henry and Jeremy McNichols. For the game, Henry carried the ball 19 times, rushed for 103 yards, and zero touchdowns. McNichols supplemented and carried the ball a total of three times for a total of 26 yards. Meanwhile Corey Davis and A.J. Brown were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Titans. Davis caught five passes from Ryan Tannehill for a total of 67 yards, while Brown contributed with 21 yards from one pass.

Although their team lost the game, the Titans defense ended the game with one sack, and four tackles for loss, to go along with zero forced fumbles.

With the win, the Colts leave with a record of 6-3 for the season, while the Titans record for the season is also 6-3.
