The Baltimore Ravens easily defeated the Dallas Cowboys in a one-sided victory of 34-17, Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 in M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. For the win, Lamar Jackson threw for 107 yards, and two touchdowns. The Ravens also relied on a rushing game that produced 294 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Jackson helped the Ravens in this victory by attempting 17 passes and completing 12 of them. This led to a final QB production of 107 yards, one interception and two touchdowns for the game.
J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards led the rushing game for the Ravens. Dobbins rushed for 71 yards from carrying the football 11 times. Dobbins was helped by Edwards who carried the football seven times for a total of 101 yards. In the passing game, Jackson was most successful throwing the ball to Miles Boykin and Marquise Brown. Boykin caught one pass for a total of 38 yards, while Brown contributed with 39 yards from five passes.
With no forced fumbles, two tackles for loss and one sack , the Ravens got just the defensive help it needed to get the win.
Compared to Jackson of the Ravens, Andy Dalton of the Cowboys threw for 285 yards with two touchdowns, and one interception, completing 31 of 48 passes, for a 85.80 passer rating.
The Cowboys’ rushing game was led by Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. For the game, Pollard carried the ball eight times, rushed for 22 yards, and zero touchdowns. Elliott supplemented and carried the ball a total of 18 times for a total of 77 yards. Meanwhile Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb were the top 2 aerial passing targets for the Cowboys. Gallup caught seven passes from Dalton for a total of 86 yards, while Lamb contributed with 46 yards from six passes.
In a losing effort, the Cowboys defense contributed with zero sacks , zero forced fumbles, two tackles for loss, and no defensive touchdowns for the game.
The Ravens walked away from the game with an improved seasonal record of 7-5. The Cowboys on the other hand, dropped to 3-9 for the season.
