The Titans Cruised Past the Colts in a One-Sided 45-26 Win

The Tennessee Titans showed up Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 in Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and cruised past the Indianapolis Colts by a one-sided 45-26 victory. The Titans deployed a rushing game that produced 229 yards and four rushing touchdowns, to go along with a total team offensive output of 449 yards. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill contributed with 221 yards and one touchdown for the game.

Tannehill finished the game with one touchdown, completing 13 of 22 passes. At the end of the day, he finished with 221 yards and no interceptions, and a passer rating of 108.30.

The Titans deployed a rushing game led by Derrick Henry and D’Onta Foreman. For the game, Henry carried the ball 27 times and rushed for 178 yards, leading to three touchdowns. Foreman supplemented by carrying the ball four times for a total of 28 yards. In the passing game, the Titans’ top receivers were Corey Davis and A.J. Brown. Davis caught three passes for a total of 70 yards, while Brown contributed with 98 yards from four passes.

Contributing to the victory was a defensive line stats of two sacks , zero forced fumbles, one tackle for loss, and zero defensive touchdowns for the Titans.

Compared to Tannehill of the Titans, Philip Rivers of the Colts threw for 295 yards with two touchdowns, and one interception, completing 24 of 42 passes, for a 84.90 passer rating.

The rushing game for the Colts was led by Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins. For the game, Hines rushed for 29 yards from carrying the football 10 times. Meanwhile Wilkins carried the ball 6 times for a total of 22 yards. For the passing game, the top receivers for the Colts included T.Y. Hilton and Michael Pittman. Hilton caught four passes for a total of 81 yards, while Pittman contributed with 28 yards from two passes.

For the game, the Colts defensive effort yielded zero forced fumbles, zero tackles for loss and one sack. This was not enough to help their team to a victory.

The Titans walked away from the game with an improved seasonal record of 8-3. The Colts on the other hand, dropped to 7-4 for the season.
