Size 20 Shoes? 9 NBA Players With the Biggest Feet
Obviously not many NBA players go around bragging about the size of their shoes, but let’s be honest: When you see a player who’s seven-feet-tall and has shoes that are bigger than your forearm, it will catch some attention. You can bet that throughout the NBA, there are some big men who have massively large feet, and we’re going to check out nine of the largest today.
Full disclosure: a shocker on this list happens to be one of the biggest stars on the planet; a 6-foot-11 scoring machine who’s controversial signing in the summer of 2016 nearly broke Twitter. Let’s just say not only is this man “Golden,” he also has gigantic feet.
9. Andre Iguodala

To be brutally honest, Iguodala doesn’t make this list because his shoes are size 18 or larger. He makes this list because of the fact that he’s 6-foot-6 and has crazy big feet for someone of that height. There’s been a debate on his actual shoe size, but it’s either a 16.5 or a 17. Either way, that’s huge for a guy who can play shooting guard if needed. Iguodala can jump out of the gym, and his big feet help him out with that.
8. Dwight Howard

Welcome to the size-18 club, Dwight. Howard may be headed to his fourth NBA team in his career in 2016, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s still a pretty talented big man. Howard is a great rebounder, averaging 12.7 per game in his career, while posting 2.1 blocks as well.
7. DeAndre Jordan

We probably shouldn’t be all that surprised by the fact that Jordan has huge feet. He’s 6-foot-11 and can jump out of the gym. At times, Jordan simply looks like a man against boys when posting someone up or flying to throw down an alley-oop. As for his shoe size, he’s rocking size 18s.
6. Kevin Durant

Here’s that surprise we were talking about. Kevin Durant, who’s undoubtedly one of the best players in the game today, actually has huge feet. To this point in his stellar career, he’s averaged 27.4 points, seven rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Shoe size? Just as big as DeAndre 3000, rocking a size 18.
5. Yao Ming

We all know and love Yao Ming. While he wasn’t able to return after a foot injury in the 2009–10 season, this is a guy who was not only crazy tall at 7-foot-6, but he was also a great basketball player. He averaged 19 points and 9.2 rebounds over his NBA career. As you can guess, for a guy who’s as tall as Ming, he also has gigantic feet, wearing a size 18.
4. Robin Lopez

While Robin Lopez has played for five different NBA teams to this point in his career, and has had some mixed results over his nine years in the league, we still have good news. Lopez has gigantic feet as well, coming in with size 20 shoes.
3. Brook Lopez

We’ll keep it in the family here as we move on to Robin’s brother, Brook, who has spent his entire career to this point with the Nets. Take a wild guess at what size shoe Brook wears? Here’s a hint: He and his brother have a lot in common, including shoe size. Lopez, like his brother, wears size 20.
2. Bob Lanier

While Lanier hasn’t played since 1984, this doesn’t change the fact that he has some ridiculously huge feet; size 22 shoes to be exact. The big man who averaged 20.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game over his 15-year NBA career was not only a great player, but he’s just another example of players over seven-feet-tall who rock huge shoes.
1. Shaquille O’Neal

Alright, when it comes to Shaq, you had to know he’d be on this list. This is a guy who played 20 NBA seasons and averaged 23.7 points and 10.9 rebounds. As amazing as he’s been on the actual court, his foot size is pretty mind-blowing as well. O’Neal wears a size 22 shoe, which is probably around double the size of an average American male’s foot size, we’d have to assume. Shaq Daddy, you never cease to amaze.
