Terrell Owens May Ignite a Rivalry With a New QB After Shooting His Shot With Aaron Rodgers’ Ex

When people think of former star wide receiver Terrell Owens’ football career, they probably think of two things: his unreal talent and his beef with former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The rivalry between the two of them has stretched for nearly 20 years at this point, and they may never make up. However, Owens may also soon start a rivalry with another quarterback. That quarterback is Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers, as Owens recently tried shooting his shot with Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend.

Aaron Rodgers has been in multiple high-profile relationships during his NFL career

Aaron Rodgers has been with the Packers since they selected him in the 2005 draft. He has become a legend, too, but while becoming an NFL GOAT, Rodgers has also dated multiple celebrities.

Rodgers first became the Packers’ starter in 2008, and in his second season as a starter in 2009, he earned a Pro Bowl selection. Then, in his third season as the starter in 2010, he helped lead the Packers to a win in the Super Bowl.

Rodgers then had an incredible season in 2011, throwing for 45 touchdowns, six interceptions, and winning league MVP. It was also in 2011 that rumors connected Rodgers to actress Jessica Szohr, according to Us Weekly.

After that season, Rodgers then continued becoming one of the best players in the NFL. He earned his third Pro Bowl selection in 2012, and then, after missing some games in 2013, Rodgers won his second MVP award in 2014. Also in 2014, Rodgers reportedly started dating actress Olivia Munn. Their relationship lasted for a while, too, but they ultimately broke up in April 2017, per Us Weekly.

During that time, Rodgers earned two more Pro Bowl selections in 2015 and 2016. He also led the NFL in passing touchdowns in 2016. He only played in seven games in 2017, though, before earning another Pro Bowl selection in 2018.

Racecar driver Danica Patrick also reportedly became Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend toward the end of 2017/beginning of 2018. They then reportedly broke up in 2020.

On the field in 2019 and 2020, Rodgers led the Packers to back-to-back NFC Championship Games. He also won MVP again in 2020 and reportedly started dating actress Shailene Woodley.

It has been a few years since Olivia Munn was Aaron Rodgers’ girlfriend. He is now engaged to Shailene Woodley, so it seems like he has fully moved on. This has since led to Terrell Owens trying to shoot his shot with Munn.

According to TMZ, Owens recently received a question while promoting his new wine, Eighty-One, on which celebrity he would like to “wine and dine.”

“On my list right now I would say Olivia Munn,” Owens said to Page Six, per TMZ. “She’s very, very high (up there). She’s very, very sexy.”

With Rodgers happily engaged to Woodley, it’s hard to imagine an actual rivalry ensuing between him and Owens. If Owens does get to take Munn out, though, things may just be a little awkward if the legendary football players ever cross paths.

Terrell Owens isn’t a stranger to having beef with a quarterback, though.

Terrell Owens knows a thing or two about feuding with a QB

Terrell Owens was a superstar during his NFL career. After earning three consecutive First-Team All-Pro selections and making four straight Pro Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers from 2000 through 2003 (and leading the NFL in touchdown catches twice), Owens teamed up with Donovan McNabb on the Eagles in 2004.

Owens earned First-Team All-Pro honors again in 2004 with the Eagles. He also helped lead them to the Super Bowl, where they ended up losing to the New England Patriots. However, Owens then later found himself suspended halfway through the 2005 season, and he never played for the Eagles again, according to NBC Sports.

NBC Sports reported that McNabb has called Owens, who also starred for the Cowboys, Bills, and Bengals, a distraction and blamed him for the team breaking up. In the past, Owens has also accused McNabb of being jealous of him and not sticking up for him when he wanted to receive a new contract. Owens also recently came out and said that McNabb allegedly went out drinking the night before the Super Bowl.

Their beef is still alive and well despite it being almost 16 years since they played together.

So, again, Terrell Owens and Aaron Rodgers may not actually form a rivalry with each other, but if they do, Owens is no stranger to feuding with a quarterback.
