It’s shocking when you consider the possibility that the colt will never win a race. On the other hand, he could be a champion, in which case, he may compete in the Saudi Cup and other horse races with insane winnings.

Saudi Cup: $10 million

Most casual racing fans don’t know the Saudi Cup because it’s a new horse race. It also has the distinction of the highest purse. The inaugural race will take place on February 29, 2020. Many owners, trainers, and jockeys are already dreaming about what they’ll do if they win the $10 million first-place purse.

The Saudi Cup has insane winnings for a few reasons. Not only does this attract the attention of top owners and trainers, but it also triggers a great deal of media attention, which draws more spectators. The race will occur on a dirt track. In addition to the Saudi Cup, the day will include other races featuring some of the world’s top Thoroughbreds. The undercard races will be on both dirt and turf tracks.

The Pegasus World Cup was the horse race with the highest purse, but the event was revamped in 2019. This resulted in the winning purse dropping from $16 million to $9 million. The Pegasus World Cup takes place at the end of January in Florida. It attracts the top racehorses and lots of fans as well as an outstanding entertainment lineup.
