Tom Brady Lashes Back at Michael Strahan With Slick Burn

Over the last couple of years, Tom Brady has become more prominent on social media. That has seen stay with the trend while being able to poke fun at himself and his colleagues. Brady was put in that situation once again on his birthday, which he sent a slick response back to Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.

Tom Brady’s legacy

Tom Brady continues to prove to be an ageless wonder as he heads into his 21st season in the league.

Brady has put forth a legacy that has earned him recognition as arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. He has been the gold standard for nearly the last two decades behind his unmatched success. Brady has shown no true signs of slowing down while continuing to guide his team to tremendous success.

The 43-year-old has a stacked resume from what he accomplished with the Patriots that saw him reach the Super Bowl nine times with six wins. Over his two decades with the franchise, New England won 17 AFC East division titles and reached the AFC title game 13 times, including an NFL record of eight straight appearances.

That has seen Brady set the Super Bowl record with four MVPs along with the all-time marks on that stage for passing yards (2,576), passing touchdowns (18), completions (256), and attempts (392). Since he became the starting quarterback in 2001, the franchise has never had a losing season and fallen short of a double-digit win campaign just once.

Tom Brady fires back at Michael Strahan

Tom Brady became the center of headlines on Monday, not for anything he accomplished on the football field as he turned 43. That saw many reached out publicly via social media to wish him a happy birthday.

Hall of Famer Michael Strahan attempted to take a humorous approach by posting a photo of himself after sacking Brady in the New York Giants’ win in Super Bowl XLII over the Patriots. It didn’t take long for the six-time Super Bowl champion to respond with a strong comeback toward his former colleague.

Thanks, Mike. Guess we’ll just have to run it back…on a football field…where I still go to work every day…

As he has proven repeatedly, Brady is quite witty with his comebacks on social media. Strahan will always have that Super Bowl win over him, but the four-time Super Bowl MVP has his longevity as he’s moved past playing 20 decades in the league.

It’s hard to argue against that as he continues to add to his illustrious career that provides him more separation as one of the NFL’s greatest players. That was simply an opportunity that Brady couldn’t pass up roasting Michael Strahan another time.

Chance to add to resume
