Tom Brady Just Received Hate From Sports Fan Beyond the Grave

Throughout much of his career, star quarterback Tom Brady has received a significant hatred and disdain. That stems from various reasons that involve him that circle around the sustained success he experienced in his two decades with the New England Patriots. Brady has taken yet another shot from a sports fan, but this time in the way that not many would approach voicing their hatred toward him.

Tom Brady’s illustrious career

Since entering the league, Tom Brady has become the gold standard for success.

He was one of the guiding forces to lead the Patriots to unmatched success over the last two decades. That saw the franchise reach the Super Bowl nine times with six wins during that span. The Patriots have 17 AFC East division titles and have reached the AFC title game 13 times, including an NFL record of eight straight appearances to that contest.

Brady has set the Super Bowl record with four MVPs along with the all-time marks on that stage for passing yards (2,576), passing touchdowns (18), completions (256), and attempts (392). Since he became the starting quarterback in 2001, the franchise has never had a losing season and fallen short of a double-digit win campaign just once over that span.

That alone has contributed significantly to the hatred directed at Brady. Other things such as Spygate and Deflategate each played a part in garnering disdain toward him and the Patriots. However, one sports fan has decided to take a one-of-a-kind approach to voice their hatred toward the star quarterback.

Tom Brady is no stranger to dealing with fans spewing their hatred toward him.

It’s become part of the territory for him as he works through his NFL career. However, one sports fan named Carole Scarsella took a unique approach to let Tom Brady know she hates him as it was put in her obituary after her passing.

“She was an avid sports fan,” the obituary reads. “Loved the New York Yankees and LeBron James. She HATED Tom Brady.”

The hatred toward Brady runs deep enough to make it part of the final words that describe the fan. It was even underlined by using all caps in the word hated to that further emphasizes her disdain toward the star quarterback. There’s no certainty that this will get back to the 42-year-old, but Scarsellas has let the world know she doesn’t like him one bit.

2020 season expectations

The hatred aside, Tom Brady is heading into a fresh opportunity with the Buccaneers in the 2020 season.

It’s a chance to mark a new path with another franchise away from the Patriots. His legacy has been linked with New England and head coach Bill Belichick, which this next chapter allows him to add to his resume in a manner unlike any situation before. There is plenty of motivation for him to prove that he can continue to find tremendous success.

Brady can build something special in Tampa Bay with a group talent around him that could see the team vie for more than the playoffs. He will have the familiar face of star tight end Rob Gronkowski in the mix to help make that transition into his new surrounding smoother. Beyond that, there is plenty of excitement about what lies ahead in the 2020 season.

The expectations are high for the Buccaneers, but Brady looks ready to take that challenge straight ahead.
