Best FPL Midfielder From Each Club According To Statistics

* All data correct as of 26/03/25

Arsenal – Bukayo Saka (107 pts)

The England international has missed the last three months of the Premier League season through injury and is still Arsenal’s highest-scoring midfielder.

Prior to his hamstring injury, the winger contributed to 15 goals in 16 starts, while also gaining 16 bonus points for his performances.

Only William Saliba, Gabriel and David Raya have scored more points for the Gunners and Saka is set to return to the league in the coming weeks – making him a viable option going forward.

Aston Villa – Morgan Rogers (113 pts)

Morgan Rogers has been a revelation for Aston Villa this season and it is no surprise to see him at the top of the list for the most FPL points earned for the Villains this season.

Scoring seven goals alongside four assists, Rogers has been one of Villa’s main attacking threats and will be a major part of FPL squads around the world.

Bournemouth – Justin Kluivert (147 pts)

Bournemouth have been one of the surprise packages of the 2024/25 Premier League season and a lot of this success is down to Justin Kluivert.

The Dutchman has gained 147 points after contributing to 18 goals in the league (12G+6A) and also became the first player to score a hat-trick of penalties in the Premier League – adding another reason to why FPL users should select the Dutchman.

Brentford – Bryan Mbeumo (179 pts)

Only Cole Palmer and Mohamed Salah have earned more points from midfield than Bryan Mbeumo, as the Cameroonian continues to impress at Brentford.

The 25-year-old has contributed to 20 goals in 29 league starts and has formed an electric relationship with Brentford striker, Yoane Wissa.

Brighton – Kaoru Mitoma (118 pts)

Many were stunned when Brighton turned down a reported £90m bid for Mitoma, but the Japanese winger has continued to be a vital member of their midfield.

So far, the tricky winger has scored seven goals and contributed with three assists in 29 Premier League matches – making him Brighton’s main provider from midfield.

Chelsea – Cole Palmer (181 pts)

As previously mentioned, Palmer is in the top two for most FPL points obtained this season and the Englishman has been Chelsea’s main man once again.

The former Manchester City player has hit a poor run of form in recent weeks, only exceeding three points once between GW22-GW29 but Palmer has still contributed to 20 goals in 28 Premier League appearances.

Crystal Palace – Ismaila Sarr (113 pts)

Crystal Palace have relied on Jean-Philippe Mateta heavily this season, however, Ismaila Sarr has been an important player for the Eagles this season.

The Senegalese midfielder has contributed to 10 goals in 28 Premier League appearances so far (7G+3A) and could be a shrewd addition for the final stages of the season.

Everton – Idrissa Gana Gueye (70 pts)

The first player who is not known for their attacking threat is Idrissa Gana Gueye, as the Everton midfielder has accumulated 70 points this season.

Gueye is yet to score in the Premier League this season, but has contributed with assists and picked up five yellow cards – so it may be wise to avoid Everton midfielder’s completely.

Fulham – Alexander Iwobi (120 pts)

Iwobi has found his home at Craven Cottage, becoming an ever-present in the Fulham midfield under Marco Silva this season.

The Nigerian has become a consistent threat in the attacking areas this season, contributing to 11 goals in the Premier League so far (7G+4A).

Ipswich Town – Omari Hutchinson (77 pts)

The Tractor Boys have struggled to make the step up after earning promotion from the Championship, but Omari Hutchinson has shown flashes of brilliance this season.

Hutchinson’s three Premier League goals have come against some of the league’s big boys, scoring against Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham – while also contributing with two assists.

Leicester City – Facundo Buonanotte (63 pts)

Similarly to Ipswich, Leicester are struggling in the Premier League and are among the favourites to be relegated on UK betting sites.

Their star man in midfield according to the stats is Facundo Buonanotte, who has contributed with four goals and two assists this season – but has accumulated the least points out of any player on this list.

Liverpool – Mohamed Salah (306 pts)

The Egyptian has been the best player in the Premier League this season and is reflected by his staggering points tally of 306.

He currently sits top of both the goal-scoring and assisting ranks, with 27 goals and 17 assists in just 29 Premier League appearances.

FPL users will almost certainly have the Liverpool player in their side, as he still has nine games to score 10 goals and break Erling Haaland’s record of 36 goals in a season.

This makes it no surprise that according to the statistics, Salah is the best midfielder to put into your FPL squad.

Manchester City – Phil Foden (99 pts)

Last season’s PFA Player of the Year has received some scrutiny for his performances this year, however, Foden is still City’s largest points provider in the league this season.

Contributing to nine goals in 24 Premier League appearances (7G+2A) is far from Foden’s best, but City have some favourable matches left and the Brit could be a strong option for the final run of fixtures.

Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes (152 pts)

The Portuguese international has hit an impressive run of form in recent weeks, as he continues to carry Manchester United almost single-handedly.

His performances have carried across multiple competitions, contributing to 31 goals in 44 appearances (16G+15A) but 17 of these have come in the Premier League – scoring eight and assisting nine.

Newcastle United – Anthony Gordon (113 pts)

Anthony Gordon missed out on Newcastle’s historical Carabao Cup final victory over Liverpool through suspension and to make matters worse, the speedy winger suffered a nasty-looking injury while away on international duty.

Prior to this disappointing couple of weeks, the Newcastle star had accumulated 113 points in the Premier League after contributing to 11 goals in the league (6G+5A).

Nottingham Forest – Anthony Elanga & Morgan Gibbs-White (118 pts)

For the first time on this list we have a tie for the most points from midfield, as Anthony Elanga and Morgan Gibbs-White have both contributed with 118 for Nottingham Forest.

The former Manchester United star has become a cult hero in Nottingham and Gibbs-White continues to take plaudits as the captain.

Between them they have contributed to 25 goals in the league, as Elanga has five goals and eight assists, while MGW has five goals and seven assists.

Southampton – Joe Aribo (67 pts)

This season is already one to forget for Southampton as they sit bottom of the Premier League, but it could be made worse as the Saints are on track to break Derby County’s record for the last amount of points obtained in a Premier League campaign.

It is no surprise that their most prolific midfielder on FPL, Joe Aribo, has not exceeded 70 points and the Nigerian has scored just three goals this season.

Tottenham – Son Heung-Min (123 pts)

The Tottenham Hotspur captain has been their leading man from midfield on FPL once again, tallying 123 points and contributing to 16 goals in 26 league games.

Ange Postecoglou has continued to struggled as Tottenham Hotspur manager and Son Heung-Min’s best efforts have still not been enough as Spurs sit 14th in the table.

West Ham – Jarrod Bowen (125 pts)

Jarrod Bowen has been West Ham’s talisman once again this season, earning a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s first England squad and could be a strong option for your FPL side.

The former Hull City winger has accumulated 125 points so far, contributing to 12 goals in the league (7G+5A) and is 24 points ahead of the next West Ham midfielder.

Wolves – Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (74pts)

Obviously, Wolves’ highest points total goes to Matheus Cunha with 143, however the most prolific points scorer from midfield is Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.

The Frenchman has been deployed in different areas of midfield but has still managed to score two goals and contribute with six assists.
