British YouTube star, KSI, has received huge criticism for his commentary on the UK Baller League and fans want the 31-year-old to be removed from future broadcasts. The UK Baller League completed its second round of fixtures on Monday 31st March, as a host of celebrities including Ian Wright, John Terry, Miniminter and Dave continue their run as managers. However, the main talking point from the evening was not the results from the six matches but was instead from the commentary of UK Baller League President, KSI. Rising to fame on YouTube, KSI has become one of the biggest online influencers in the United Kingdom and has even broke into the mainstream media – appearing as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. Boasting a following over 50 million across all platforms, the Brit is one of the biggest names attached to the Baller League but his involvement so far has received more negatives than positives. During the broadcast, the internet superstar acted as a co-commentator and lets just say he did not deliver a Peter Drury level of performance. Throughout each match KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, could be heard laughing at points, offering little analysis and clearly confused by certain events that left fans questioning why he was even allowed to host the event. The YouTube is well-adverse to receiving criticism online due to his consistent uploads on YouTube, but most recently he has been called out for his postponed boxing match against Dillon Danis. In a video uploaded to X, KSI confirmed that he would not be competing against the MMA star after picking up an illness and left fans who had already purchased tickets, accommodation and flights furious. This anger was increased after the YouTube star was seen at an Usher concert on the night of the original fight date and then appearing to have ample energy while doing Baller League commentary. Fans Call For KSI To Be Removed From UK Baller League As previously mentioned, fans were not best pleased with KSI’s approach to commentary and this fan even claimed the YouTuber ‘ruined’ the entire show. KSI has single handedly ruined this week's baller league. God awful commentary. — Daniel Legesse (@daniel7nans) March 31, 2025 Another viewer voiced their opinion on KSI’s commentary and described the British celebrity’s way of exaggerating every action as ‘really annoying.’ This baller league isn’t all that bad a watch but KSI over exaggerating every single thing that happens is really annoying — The Invisible Fox (@InvisibleLCFC) March 31, 2025 Finally, the UK Baller League viewers have called for KSI to be removed from commentary, with this aggravated supported praising the tournament but calling for the 31-year-old to be axed. Can see the vision for baller league and believe it could be super entertaining, but I’m sorry you can’t have ksi on the commentary… #ballerleagueuk — Nathan Bland (@NxthxnBlxnd) April 1, 2025 Baller League Night 2 Results MVPs 3-2 M7 FC Wembley Rangers AFC 2-4 VZN FC N5 FC 3-7 Deportrio 26ERS 5-7 Yanited Santan FC 4-3 SDS FC F.C RTW 1-5 Trebol FC Written by Sports EditorLouis Fargher Louis is a Sports Editor specialising in football, darts and WWE focusing on the latest news and long-form features.
