The 2024/25 League One season gets underway this weekend, and we’ve investigated each fixture’s ticket prices to see which is the most expensive. League One Opening Weekend Ticket Prices Fixture Price (£) Barnsley vs Mansfield    30 Leyton Orient vs Bolton    30 Wigan vs Charlton    26 Stockport vs Cambridge    24 Stevenage vs Shrewsbury    22 Wrexham vs Wycombe    22 Peterborough vs Huddersfield    21 Birmingham vs Reading    20 Bristol Rovers vs Northampton    20 Crawley vs Blackpool    20 Exeter vs Rotherham    20 Burton Albion vs Lincoln    18 Note: These prices are for the cheapest adult ticket available on general sale in home sections excluding family stands, and that prices may vary depending on the age of supporter, the type of ticket purchased and where in the ground the seat is located. While Barnsley and Leyton Orient fans will be digging deepest for their tickets this weekend, with the cheapest adult admission coming in at £30, supporters of other clubs will be able to enjoy the opening day of the season for less. Birmingham City and Bristol Rovers share the honour of the cheapest tickets, with both clubs charging £20 for their respective home games against Reading and Northampton Town. Other clubs offering relatively affordable tickets for their opening fixtures include Burton Albion (£18), Crawley (£20), Exeter City (£20), Peterborough United (£21), Stevenage (£22), Wrexham (£22) and Huddersfield Town (£21). At the other end of the scale, Wigan Athletic charge £26 for their home game against Charlton Athletic, while Stockport County’s match against Cambridge United is priced at £24. Generally, these prices are cheaper than the opening weekend fixtures in the Championship, where a ticket for Leeds vs Portsmouth is costs £44.
