After two days and four sessions of golf at the 2024 Presidents Cup, it’s time for Sunday singles. The Presidents Cup singles draw sees 12 mouth-watering clashes between the USA and International teams, with the US leading 11-7 heading into the final day.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2024 Presidents Cup Heads Into Final Day With American In Control<\/h2>\n

The 2024 Presidents Cup<\/a> has reached Sunday singles, as all 24 players from Team USA and the Internationals lock horns at Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec.<\/p>\n

The Americans dominated the first day of the Presidents Cup with a 5-0 whitewash in the first session. However, the Internationals paid them back on Friday with a 5-0 victory of their own. The USA took back the lead after eight sessions on Saturday, meaning Jim Furyk’s team lead 11-7 heading into the singles matches today.<\/p>\n

Mike Weir’s Internationals will need to win 8.5 points on Sunday, which would give them their first win at the Presidents Cup since 1998. The United States have dominated the Presidents Cup, leading the series 12-1-1 all time. This includes nine consecutive victories, with America aiming to make that a magic 10 today.<\/p>\n

Although it is highly unlikely the Internationals make such a remarkable comeback, it isn’t totally beyond the realms of possibility.<\/p>\n

The Presidents Cup singles draw has bene made for the final day, with 12 exciting battles between the US and Internationals set to take place on Sunday in Quebec.<\/p>\n

The Presidents Cup champions will be crowned later today, with America firmly in the driving seat with just 12 singles matches to go. There has been plenty of excitement during the 2024 Presidents Cup already, but Sunday’s singles draw is a compelling one that will certainly see many twists and turns.<\/p>\n

Two-time major champion Xander Schauffele kicks things off for the US against Jason Day, in what is a cracking match to get us going for the Presidents Cup singles. The Internationals star of the 2024 Presidents Cup, Tom Kim, is up next as he faces America’s Sam Burns.<\/p>\n

World number one and dominant golfing sensational Scottie Scheffler is up next for Team USA. He faces former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama in the third match of the day. Next is Russell Henley vs Sungjae Im, followed by Patrick Cantlay vs Taylor Pendrith and Keegan Bradley vs Si Woo Kim.<\/p>\n
