The Bruno Fernandes red card in the defeat to Tottenham now means the Manchester United captain is set to miss the next three Premier League fixtures.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the stroke of half-time, Fernandes was given his marching orders after a late tackle on James Maddison. Referee Chris Kavanagh didn’t hesitate in dismissing the Portuguese international.<\/p>\n

United were already trailing 1-0 after Brennan Johnson gave Spurs an early lead at Old Trafford. Second-half goals from Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke completed a miserable afternoon for the Red Devils.<\/p>\n
