After his successful UFC Light-Heavyweight Title defence at UFC 307 last weekend, Alex Pereira has taken to social media posting a photo with Tom Aspinall. The interim UFC heavyweight king responded, with fans now in a frenzy over a potential Pereira vs Aspinall fight in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following his Round 4 knockout of Khalil Rountree in the main event at UFC 307, talk about Alex Pereira<\/a>‘s next fight is already rife. Many people believe Pereira is the best pound-for-pound fighter on the entire UFC roster, so his next fight is certainly a hot topic of conversation.<\/p>\n

Just days after his emphatic victory at UFC 307, Pereira took to Instagram with a photo that has since sent fans into a frenzy. The photo is of Tom Aspinall, the interim UFC heavyweight champion, staring at Alex Pereira<\/a> from outside the Octagon, whilst ‘Poatan’ is about to fight.<\/p>\n

The photo was taken at UFC 300, before the Brazilian destroyed former champion Jamahal Hill in the first round of their 205-pound UFC<\/a> Title bout. The Instagram post, which Pereira shared on Tuesday evening, was captioned: “This is one of my favorite moments before a fight”.<\/em><\/p>\n

This post instantly got fans hearts racing, firmly believing that this is Alex Pereira<\/a>‘s way of calling out Tom Aspinall for a fight in 2025. Whether or not that is the case remains to be seen, but the Englishman responded via Instagram stories, seemingly agreeing to the fight with ‘Poatan’.<\/p>\n
