Adam Azim was last in action on October 19th as he defeated Ohara Davies via eighth round knockout to retain his European Super-Lightweight Title. As we head into 2025, various names are being thrown about as potential opponents for Adam Azim’s next fight.<\/p>\n

‘The Assassin’ has quickly become one of the Sky Sports’ biggest assets in the past year or so. The 22-year-old is already the EBU champion at 140-pounds, despite having just had 12 fights. Adam Azim’s record<\/a> sits at an impressive 12-0, with nine big wins coming via knockout.<\/p>\n

Heading into 2025, it looks like next year could be the biggest of Azim’s career yet. This could mean huge domestic clashes with the likes of Harlem Eubank or Dalton Smith, or potentially even a shot at world honours before the end of next year. Time will tell what Azim’s next move is.<\/p>\n

In regards to his next fight, it was announced in early December that Azim will face former world champion Sergey Lipinets on February 1st at the OVO Arena, Wembley, London. Should Adam Azim’s next fight go to plan against Sergey Lipinets, then all roads could lead to the Dalton Smith clash in the summer. This seems like the obvious fight to make for both Azim and Smith, both of who have their eyes on world honours within the next 12-18 months.<\/p>\n

The Azim vs Smith fight has been talked about at length by promoters Ben Shalom and Eddie Hearn<\/a> over the past six months. Smith’s promoter Eddie Hearn has slammed Team Azim for ‘ducking’ his man, but 2025 could be the year where Adam Azim vs Dalton Smith finally happens next year.<\/p>\n

The other alternative would of course to be to let it brew for another few years and fight down the line for multiple world titles. Another option for Adam Azim’s next fight could be fights against the likes of Harlem Eubank or even Josh Taylor, if Team Azim are willing to take that risk.<\/p>\n
