The Brighton squad value is vaster than that of Bundesliga and European giants Bayern Munich, according to new data.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fabian Hurzeler has been soaring high with the Seagulls since replacing Roberto De Zerbi in the summer. Now, the Premier League<\/a>‘s youngest manager can boast of leading a more expensive side than Bayern’s.<\/p>\n

Recruitment has been vital for Albion and their continued presence in England’s elite since gaining promotion in 2017. Renowned for selling their most prized assets, Brighton<\/a> always<\/em> find brilliant replacements.<\/p>\n

In the off-season, the likes of Georginio Rutter, Yankuba Minteh, Mats Wieffer, Brajun Gruda, Ferdi Kadioglu, Matt O’Riley, Ibrahim Osman and Malick Yalcouye all signed on at the Amex.<\/p>\n

However, does such a cluster of new talent really justify a higher squad value than a side that contains Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise and Harry Kane? Apparently, the recently released research data strongly suggests so.<\/p>\n

Brighton Squad Value Trumps Bayern Munich<\/h2>\n

According to data published by\u00a0CIES Football Observatory<\/a>, the Brighton squad value comes in at \u00a3675.5 million. That figure covers the entirety of the Seagulls 48-man playing squad.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich’s value is a mere \u00a3670.5 million. Just five behind Hurzeler’s side but it’s still a hugely monumental win for the south coast club. Made even more majestic considering Bayern had 44 players measured.<\/p>\n

The only area where Vincent Kompany’s side does score a minor victory over Albion is with the average player value. Munich sit at \u00a315.2 million whereas Brighton boast \u00a314 million.<\/p>\n

Although the CIES Football Observatory didn’t publish data on the sides most valuable asset. The ever reliable TransferMarkt<\/a> provides an insight.<\/p>\n

For Brighton, Joao Pedro takes the honours. The Brazil international is valued at \u00a342m. Six-time UEFA Champions League<\/a> winners Bayern have Jamal Musiala valued at \u00a3108 million.<\/p>\n

Bayern Munich’s Ageing Squad Sees Value Drop<\/h2>\n

It’s no secret that a plethora of Bayern Munich’s stars are now well into their twilight years. Legendary goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is 39 in March and Thomas Muller recently turned 35.<\/p>\n

The likes of Harry Kane<\/a> (31), Eric Dier (30), Raphael Guerreiro (30) and Sven Ulreich (36) are reaching the end of their careers. Justifying slightly why the Brighton squad value is higher. Age naturally provides a huge factor.<\/p>\n

However, Jamal Musiala, Alphonso Davies, Mathys Tel, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Hiroki Ito have huge values and plenty of good years ahead of them.<\/p>\n
