Newly appointed England manager Thomas Tuchel has seemingly left the door open for a potential change in captaincy, despite his history with Harry Kane.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The duo previously worked together at Bayern Munich, where Tuchel<\/a> was instrumental in bringing Kane to the club from Tottenham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Tuchel expressed immense admiration for Kane’s abilities and contributions, he emphasised that the decision regarding the captaincy would be made at a later date.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s too early to make these decisions,” Tuchel told reporters. “I want to give the respect to Lee [Carsley] and not interfere [with the next two games].”<\/p>\n

This leaves fans and pundits alike wondering whether Kane will retain the armband or if Tuchel may have other plans.<\/p>\n
