A new Chelsea badge has been revealed ahead of the club’s 120th anniversary – strengthening their claim as ‘London’s true club.’

New Chelsea Badge Celebrates West Londoners Milestone

The Blues new emblem will be showcased on all forms of branding and to further promote the club’s milestone. It will not replace the current badge.

During the summer, the west Londoners started working with Uncommon Creative Studio on the design. The two entered into a partnership and it will see the term ‘LDN’ positioned under the lion.

Naturally, the recently designed emblem will be trademarked. Perhaps unsurprisingly, no Premier League rivals based in the capital objected to the application.

Therefore, the new Chelsea badge is set to be officially registered and owned by the club for at least the next decade. Meanwhile, the Blues have applied to trademark ‘Chels’ and ‘The Chels’. A decision will be made in November.
