Arsenal legend Tony Adams has boldly predicted that his former club can achieve a historic Premier League and Champions League double this season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Gunners icon believes Mikel Arteta’s<\/a> squad is more than equipped to secure both domestic and European silverware.<\/p>\n

Adams also took a swipe at their rivals, Tottenham<\/a>, suggesting that winning the Champions League is not as challenging as it may seem.<\/p>\n

“You need a great squad to win the Champions League because sometimes you can lose focus on one competition when you’re going for the other,” Adams told the Daily Mirror<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“In 2005, Liverpool won it when they were nowhere near the title, and Tottenham, of course, got to the final in 2019. Listen, if Tottenham can get to the final, anybody can.”<\/p>\n

Adams emphasised that Arsenal’s recent success in the Premier League<\/a>, coupled with the progress they made in the Champions League last season, makes a double not entirely out of reach.<\/p>\n
