West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus has been charged by the FA following his red card in the London derby against Tottenham on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Along with Kudus, both West Ham and Tottenham have also been sanctioned for the actions of their players following the incident.<\/p>\n

Ghanaian winger Kudus was dismissed late on as West Ham<\/a> fell to a 4-1 defeat at the Tottenham<\/a> Hotspur Stadium.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old opened the scoring for the Irons in the 18th minute before Spurs equalised through Dejan Kulusevski.<\/p>\n

Yves Bissouma put Tottenham in front, with a third coming from an Alphonse Areola own-goal.<\/p>\n

Son Heung-Min made it four on the hour mark to seal the comeback victory for the hosts, but that wasn’t the end of the drama.<\/p>\n

Kudus was then sent off in the 86th minute after kicking Spurs<\/a> defender Mickey van de Ven before pushing both van de Ven and Pape Matar Sarr in the face.<\/p>\n

Initially awarded a yellow card, Kudus was then shown a red after a VAR review.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Kudus faces the possibility of further punishment following his red card in West Ham United's 4-1 defeat by Tottenham.<\/p>\n

The FA has charged the Ghana international for allegedly acting "in an improper manner and\/or using violent conduct".<\/p>\n
