TEMPER TRAP (system \u2013 winning sequence pattern)<\/h3>\n

As a general rule, it pays to avoid Tim Easterby-trained last time out winners, as they rarely follow up. This year, he\u2019s won with just six of the 84 qualifiers (7.1%) for a loss of \u00a353.30 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP (the expected number of winners, based on their odds, was 12.17). Progeny of the sire Time Test do well on Tapeta when given a trip of a mile or further, landing 20 of their 134 starts (15% strike-rate) for a profit of \u00a3217.85 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP (expected winners = 12.60, A\/E = 1.59). EPIMETEO<\/strong> ran green when a close-up 7-1 third at Brighton on his recent debut and his half-brother Out Of Shadows scored at Wolverhampton on his Tapeta debut. BEVERAGINO (system \u2013 Clifford Lee riding for Michael Bell)<\/h3>\n

BEVERAGINO<\/strong> has hardly set the world alight in two starts since undergoing wind surgery, but she shaped as though worth another try over a longer trip when a 22-1 eighth of 11 in a 7f fillies\u2019 handicap at Southwell last time and I like the booking of Clifford Lee. He\u2019s nine from 24 when riding for Michael Bell and backing his mounts blind would have returned a profit of \u00a320.68 to a \u00a31 level stake at SP (expected winners = 4.21, A\/E = 2.14).<\/p>\n
