With a strong European team heading to Del Mar racecourse in California, you can plan your US horse racing weekend with the Breeders’ Cup race times and full schedule for the two-day meeting – if living in the UK or Ireland.

2025 Breeders’ Cup Race Times If Living In The UK or Ireland \u23f1\ufe0f\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 \ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddea<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There are 14 Breeders’ Cup<\/strong> races spread over Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st of November – but with the action staged at Del Mar racetrack in California there is a SEVEN HOUR time difference for those wanting to watch in the UK and Ireland.<\/p>\n

This means Breeders’ Cup viewers in the UK and Ireland will need to set their clocks with the races starting at 9:45pm on Friday (GMT) and 7:00pm on the Saturday.<\/p>\n

To help plan your horse racing Breeders’ Cup weekends here are the 14 Del Mar races listed with GMT race times.<\/p>\n

Breeders Cup Race Times In UK and Ireland – Friday 31st October 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The 42nd Breeders’ Cup action gets going on Friday 31st October with the Juvenile Turf Sprint at 9:45pm.<\/p>\n

This race will see several UK and Irish entries – including possible Aidan O’Brien Breeders’ Cup runners<\/a> with True Love, Brussels and Mission Central having options to run here.<\/p>\n

In total, there are five Breeders’ Cup races on the Friday (see below) that end with the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf – which actually runs into early Saturday morning if living in the UK or Ireland.<\/p>\n

Breeders Cup Race Times In UK and Ireland – Saturday 1st Nov 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

See below the UK and Ireland Breeders’ Cup<\/strong> race times for the 2025 meeting on Saturday. With the first race set to be shown at 7pm (GMT).<\/p>\n

There are nine Breeders’ Cup races on the day, with the Breeders’ Cup Classic the main event that carries the most prize money \u00a32,866,142.<\/p>\n

Last year the race was won by Sierra Leone, who could line-up again and will be looking to become the first ‘back-to-back’<\/em> winner since Tiznow (2001\/2002).<\/p>\n

The 2025 Breeders’ Cup Classic, which will be run at 10:25pm (UK time).<\/p>\n

But unfortunately Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty, who was a big fancy, has been scratched from the race.<\/p>\n

On the final day, there are also three Frankie Dettori Breeders’ Cup rides<\/a> to look out for – in what will be his final meeting.<\/p>\n

Dettori has recently announced he’ll be retiring from the race riding in the US after this weekend’s Del Mar fixture.<\/p>\n
