Therefore, when working out how to fit Salah in isn’t easy – especially if you want a few other big-guns in your side too.<\/p>\n

The form of Bukayo Saka (\u00a310.0m) and Cole Palmer (\u00a311.0m), as well as banking on premium defender picks such as Gabriel (\u00a36.3m), Josko Gvardiol (\u00a36.2m) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (\u00a37.0m) means that many of us are struggling to fit the Egyptian into our FPL <\/a>teams.<\/p>\n

Emile Smith-Rowe<\/strong> (\u00a35.7m), Morgan Rogers<\/strong> (\u00a35.4m), Raul Jiminez<\/strong> (\u00a35.7m) and Mattheus Cunha<\/strong> (\u00a36.5m) have had brilliant starts to the season and have the ability to go on and make a mockery of their price tags.<\/p>\n

To afford this \u2018threemium\u2019 draft, you\u2019ll need to pick up these players, as well as taking significant investment out of your backline.<\/p>\n

Rayan Ait-Nouri<\/strong> (\u00a34.6m) has five goal involvements already this season, Matz Sels<\/strong> (\u00a34.6m) is the current joint top scoring goalkeeper and Rico Lewis<\/strong> (\u00a34.8m) lets you tap into the backline of the current league leaders.<\/p>\n

Add in an Everton defender, such as Vitalii Mykolenko<\/strong> (\u00a34.3m) and a couple of other cheap defenders, and things really don\u2019t look so bad.<\/p>\n

Haaland & Salah <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dropping a premium player in midfield does allow for some fairly substantial upgrades, most notably in defence.<\/p>\n

For example, you can conceivably keep an Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City defender (you can downgrade Gvardiol to Lewis if you lack the required funds).<\/p>\n

You should also have a bit more leeway with that 4th<\/sup> midfielder spot too. I\u2019ve opted for Brennan Johnson<\/strong> (\u00a36.7m) here, but someone like Eberechi Eze<\/strong> (\u00a36.7m) could also fit the bill.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a strong and well-balanced team overall, but you may struggle for flexibility if you decide you want one of Palmer\/Saka and don\u2019t want to downgrade one of Salah or Haaland to accommodate this.<\/p>\n

No Haaland<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For the manager who wants to spread the money round even further, selling Haaland has become a viable strategy. He does after all have just 1 goal in 4 games, making us question whether he is worth the price.<\/p>\n

With this team, you can fit Salah, Saka and Palmer into the side and not have to go below \u00a36.4m for an attacking option.<\/p>\n

If you have a decent team value, you can also stack your defence with premium picks alongside attacking options such as Ait-Nouri.<\/p>\n

This team could thrive over the coming weeks, it just depends on whether you have the cojones to go without Haaland \u2013 but with the form we are seeing Salah in, there\u2019s no reason why we shouldn\u2019t at least be considering going without the big man.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
